Restaurant Finance & Accounting

FoxiFood shows what the restaurant took in and what part of it is not yours. Every month closes into a statement with revenue, FoxiFood fees and VAT, and the underlying data exports as CSV or JSON. It is not an accounting package and not a cash register — it is the basis your accountant works from.

Key Benefits

Monthly statement

Each month is one row: number of orders, revenue, FoxiFood fees, VAT for the month and the amount left for you. The running month stays open with live figures and closes itself when the month ends.

Exports your accountant can use

The summary CSV splits card and cash revenue, tips, discounts and VAT by rate; the orders CSV lists every order of the month. It is a billing basis with exports, not a tax invoice — no PDF invoice and no invoice number is issued.

VAT set-aside

For VAT payers, a card shows how much of the money you have already received belongs to the state and by when — the 25th of the following month. Card revenue arrives in your bank account, cash you already hold.

Ledger export (CSV or JSON)

Export financial transactions, orders or courier payouts for any period, up to 10,000 records per export. Transaction and courier exports state amounts in cents, the orders export in your currency.

Dish margins from your recipes

See the real margin of each dish from recipe costs and the last 30 days of sales, colour-coded so thin margins stand out. It needs the recipes you keep in the inventory module.

Corporate accounts

A company joins with a code and its staff order on the company account within monthly and per-order limits. The monthly billing view is your basis for invoicing them — you issue the invoice, not FoxiFood.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can FoxiFood replace my accounting software?
No. FoxiFood is not an accounting package. It closes each month into a statement — orders, revenue, FoxiFood fees, VAT and the amount left for you — and exports the underlying data as CSV or JSON. There is no PDF invoice and no invoice number: the statement is a billing basis, not a tax document.
When does the money reach my bank account?
Card payments land in your own Stripe account and Stripe pays them out to your bank on its own schedule, usually within two working days. Cash you take at the restaurant stays with you and never passes through us.
Can I track cash and card payments separately?
Yes. The monthly summary CSV splits card and cash revenue, along with tips, discounts and VAT by rate, and the ledger export lists every financial transaction with its type. You can export any period, up to 10,000 records at a time.
